About this concreting referral service

Albury Concreting is an enquiry and referral website run by Yes Right Pty Ltd. See what happens to your enquiry and how to check a concreter's NSW licence.

Albury Concreting is an enquiry and referral website operated by Yes Right Pty Ltd, ABN 91 664 546 061. It lets people in Albury, Wodonga and the nearby suburbs describe a concreting job so that an independent local concreter can consider it.

The operator is not a concreting contractor and holds no concreting licence. This site has no yard, no trucks and no workers, and it does not publish reviews or photos of finished jobs. Any image on the site illustrates the type of work described, not a job arranged through the site.

What happens after you send an enquiry?

  1. You fill in the form with your suburb, contact details and a description of the job.
  2. Your details may be passed to one or more independent providers who do that kind of concreting in your area, so they can respond.
  3. A provider who is interested contacts you, usually to ask for photos, measurements or a site visit.
  4. If you and the provider agree on a price and scope, the contract is between the two of you.

Sending the form does not book anything and does not guarantee that a provider will take the job or contact you by a particular time. Do not use the form for urgent safety problems.

What is the provider responsible for?

The provider who quotes your job is responsible for:

  • the quote, the written contract and the payment terms
  • holding the licence, registration and insurance the job needs
  • council approvals they agree to lodge, such as a crossing application
  • the workmanship, the materials and cleaning up afterwards
  • any warranty or defect obligations under the law that applies to the job

Before you agree to anything, ask for the scope in writing, including the area, finish, base, reinforcement, removal and disposal, and how changes to the job will be priced.

How do you check a concreter’s licence in NSW?

In NSW, concrete laying, formwork, reinforcement, decorative finishes and concrete repairs sit in one licence category, general concreting, and jobs above 5,000 dollars including GST require it. To check one:

  1. Ask the provider for their licence number and the name on the licence.
  2. Search it on the Service NSW check for a builder or tradesperson licence. You can search by name, licence number, ABN, ACN or location.
  3. Confirm the licence is current, that it covers concreting, and that the name matches the business on your quote.
  4. For work over 20,000 dollars, ask for the Home Building Compensation certificate before paying a deposit.

And for jobs in Wodonga or Baranduda?

Victorian jobs are regulated by the Building and Plumbing Commission. For work worth more than 10,000 dollars, check the provider’s registration with the BPC’s register. The Wodonga page explains the council permit for crossings, and the Baranduda page covers the newer estates.

Where to start

The concrete driveways page is the most common starting point, and the Albury concreting cost guide lists the published price ranges used on this site. Our privacy notice explains how enquiry details are handled. When you are ready, describe your concreting job.
